Ces petits moments pass\u00e9s chez elle me plaisaient. Je me sentais comme une reine car tout le monde autour de la table connaissait mon go\u00fbt particulier pour les grains de pois et s\u2019assurait de m\u2019en laisser suffisamment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mes oncles et tantes prenaient toujours le temps en me servant de mettre autant de grains de pois dans la louche que possible et de les verser au-dessus de mes deux ou trois cuill\u00e9r\u00e9es de riz tout en s\u2019assurant de me donner aussi assez de sauce. J\u2019aimais autant les pois. Mais il fallait absolument que mon riz soit arros\u00e9 d\u2019une part \u00e9gale de sauce et de grains entiers pour que je sois satisfaite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cet amour pour les pois, bon nombre de mes compatriotes le partagent.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce n\u2019est pas un secret que <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/rice-diri-haiti\/\">nous n\u2019acceptons pas de manger sans riz<\/a> et sans pois non plus. Nous aimons vraiment notre s\u00f2s pwa. Nous en arrosons notre riz blanc, notre mayi moulu ou petit mil qu\u2019il agr\u00e9mente parfaitement. Quelque soit les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales choisis, un fait est certain, en Ha\u00efti, nous consommons les pois en sauce durant toute la semaine. Pour \u00e9viter la monotonie, nous y ajoutons parfois des <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/salt-cured-pork-for-bold-flavors\/\">ti sal\u00e9 ou lardons<\/a> que certains appellent \u00ab nanm pois, \u00bb l\u2019\u00e2me des pois. Nous alternons \u00e9galement les types de pois d\u2019un jour \u00e0 l\u2019autre, notre r\u00e9pertoire de pois \u00e9tant assez riche. Pois rouges, noirs, blancs et verts se succ\u00e8dent donc \u00e0 nos menus. Une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 connue sous le nom de pois beurre m\u2019intriguait. Je pense cependant que j\u2019\u00e9tais plus fascin\u00e9e par le nom qu\u2019autre chose surtout que j\u2019aimais beaucoup le beurre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pour en revenir \u00e0 mon cher s\u00f2s pwa, mon amour des pois perdure encore aujourd\u2019hui.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il ne faut surtout pas me laisser seule avec une casserole de pois pr\u00e9cuits. Je vous garantis que j\u2019en mangerai autant que possible avant de les r\u00e9duire en pur\u00e9e et de les mettre \u00e0 mijoter pour la pr\u00e9paration de notre fameux s\u00f2s pwa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chers lecteurs, vous \u00eates donc avertis. Si jamais vous m\u2019invitez \u00e0 manger chez vous et que le s\u00f2s pwa figure au menu, abstenez-vous de r\u00e9duire tous les grains en sauce. Laissez m\u2019en suffisamment. Mes oncles et tantes prenaient toujours le temps en me servant de mettre autant de grains de pois dans la louche que possible et de les verser au-dessus de mes deux ou trois cuill\u00e9r\u00e9es de riz tout en s\u2019assurant de me donner aussi assez de sauce. J\u2019aimais autant les pois. Mais il fallait absolument que mon riz soit arros\u00e9 d\u2019une part \u00e9gale de sauce et de grains entiers pour que je sois satisfaite. Cet amour pour les pois, bon nombre de mes compatriotes le partagent. Ce n\u2019est pas un secret que nous n\u2019acceptons pas de manger sans riz et sans pois non plus. Nous aimons vraiment notre s\u00f2s pwa. Nous en arrosons notre riz blanc, notre mayi moulu ou petit mil qu\u2019il agr\u00e9mente parfaitement. Quelque soit les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales choisis, un fait est certain, en Ha\u00efti, nous consommons les pois en sauce durant toute la semaine. Pour \u00e9viter la monotonie, nous y ajoutons parfois des ti sal\u00e9 ou lardons que certains appellent \u00ab nanm pois, \u00bb l\u2019\u00e2me des pois. Nous alternons \u00e9galement les types de pois d\u2019un jour \u00e0 l\u2019autre, notre r\u00e9pertoire de pois \u00e9tant assez riche. Pois rouges, noirs, blancs et verts se succ\u00e8dent donc \u00e0 nos menus. Il s\u2019agit bien s\u00fbr ici d\u2019une liste incompl\u00e8te car il existe encore plus de vari\u00e9t\u00e9s que je ne saurais lister sans m\u2019y perdre. Je vous dirai cependant que, petite, j\u2019avais une pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence particuli\u00e8re pour les pois noirs et les pois blancs. Une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 connue sous le nom de pois beurre m\u2019intriguait. Je pense cependant que j\u2019\u00e9tais plus fascin\u00e9e par le nom qu\u2019autre chose surtout que j\u2019aimais beaucoup le beurre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque. Pour en revenir \u00e0 mon cher s\u00f2s pwa, mon amour des pois perdure encore aujourd\u2019hui. Il ne faut surtout pas me laisser seule avec une casserole de pois pr\u00e9cuits. Je vous garantis que j\u2019en mangerai autant que possible avant de les r\u00e9duire en pur\u00e9e et de les mettre \u00e0 mijoter pour la pr\u00e9paration de notre fameux s\u00f2s pwa.
