Les mangues \u00e9taient partout, \u00e0 tous les coins de rue et au supermarch\u00e9. Je ne pouvais faire mes emplettes sans les avoir dans mon champ de vue. Les \u00e9tag\u00e8res du supermarch\u00e9 regorgeaient de mangues qui m\u2019invitaient \u00e0 les emporter chez moi. Et je ne pouvais r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la tentation. Plus j\u2019en achetais, plus j\u2019avais envie de partir dans des aventures culinaires aussi uniques les unes que les autres, ce que je n\u2019avais jamais fait avec ce fruit avant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En bonne Ha\u00eftienne, jusque-l\u00e0, mes mangues, je les \u00e9pluchais et je les coupais pour les manger ou je les su\u00e7ais pour en extraire le jus. Elles ne se retrouvaient quasiment jamais sous forme de plat. Voyez-vous chez nous, nous ne cuisinons pas vraiment avec ce fruit. Cependant, cet \u00e9t\u00e9, comme vous le savez, j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert mille et une fa\u00e7ons de consommer ce fruit. Ces recettes ne vous font-elle pas r\u00eaver de mangues \u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e&nbsp;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malheureusement, l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 touche \u00e0 sa fin. Dans quelques semaines, ces mangues ne seront qu\u2019un doux souvenir fruit\u00e9. Nos manguiers redeviendront une source d\u2019ombre pour les prochains dix mois. Nous retournerons \u00e0 notre routine quotidienne. J\u2019avoue que je ne suis pas pr\u00eate pour une telle rupture. Je ne sais pas trop ce que je deviendrai sans ces mangues. Je pr\u00e9parais les pancakes au ma\u00efs de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.errenskitchen.com\/cornbread-pancakes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Erren\u2019s Kitchen<\/a>, et je n\u2019avais pas de sirop sous la main. Il fallait donc que je concocte vite un accompagnement. Je n\u2019avais que des mangues \u00e0 ma disposition, d\u2019o\u00f9 ce chutney \u00e0 la mangue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019en y go\u00fbtant que je r\u00e9alisai l\u2019importance de cette recette. Ce chutney me permettra de faire durer l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 encore quelques semaines. En le conservant dans des bocaux, je pourrai consommer des mangues hors-saison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors la voil\u00e0, chers lecteurs, la v\u00e9ritable raison pour laquelle je vous encore une pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 la mangue aujourd\u2019hui.
