Je d\u00e9testais me salir les mains et \u00e9vitais donc de consommer tout ce qui devait se manger avec les doigts. Avec \u00e7a, j\u2019ai pass\u00e9 une bonne partie de mon enfance \u00e0 \u00e9viter de nombreux aliments parmi lesquels les labapins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le labapin est une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de fruit \u00e0 pain, de la famille des <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/lame-veritable\/\">lames veritables<\/a>, plut\u00f4t connue dans les Antilles fran\u00e7aises sous le nom de ch\u00e2taigne-pays. La partie comestible de ce fruit est un ensemble de graines brunes qui se mangent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement bouillies \u2013 version que je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re \u2013 ou s\u2019ajoutent \u00e0 certaines viandes qu\u2019elles agr\u00e9mentent. Ces graines se mangent en \u00f4tant la coque externe qui les entoure et la mince membrane attach\u00e9e directement au fruit, ce qui ne peut \u00eatre fait qu\u2019avec les doigts.
