J\u2019arrivais \u00e0 peine \u00e0 atteindre le comptoir un peu \u00e9lev\u00e9 de notre cuisine. Pour le faire, il fallait que je me hisse sur une des chaises en paille de notre salle \u00e0 manger, ce que je faisais assez souvent surtout lorsque ma m\u00e8re pr\u00e9parait ses b\u00e2tonnets au fromage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette recette, je l\u2019aimais particuli\u00e8rement pour deux raisons. Elle allait vite m\u2019initier au monde de la p\u00e2tisserie sans que je n\u2019aie \u00e0 trop me salir les mains. Les b\u00e2tonnets constituaient donc le cours id\u00e9al.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Facile \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser, leur pr\u00e9paration n\u2019exige que trois ingr\u00e9dients clefs. Je m\u00e9morisai bien vite les instructions qu\u2019aujourd\u2019hui encore je peux vous r\u00e9p\u00e9ter mot pour mot tel que ma m\u00e8re me les indiquait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pour des b\u00e2tonnets au fromage, il faut autant de beurre que de farine et de fromage.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>En langage plus concret, ceci signifie qu\u2019il faut un b\u00e2tonnet de beurre pour chaque tasse de farine et de fromage.&nbsp; Je parle ici bien s\u00fbr d\u2019un fromage pr\u00e9cis&nbsp;: <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/tete-de-maure-aged-edam-haitian-cuisine\/\">l\u2019incontournable fromage T\u00eate de Maure<\/a> ou encore fromage hollandais ha\u00eftien comme je me plais si souvent \u00e0 l\u2019appeler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme je&nbsp;l\u2019ai mentionn\u00e9 plus haut, cette recette, je l\u2019aimais particuli\u00e8rement pour une deuxi\u00e8me raison. Elle n\u2019exigeait pas que je casse des \u0153ufs, ce qui \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque \u00e9tait mon pire cauchemar en p\u00e2tisserie. J\u2019\u00e9tais tr\u00e8s maladroite. Je me salirais certainement les mains s\u2019il fallait que je casse des \u0153ufs dans la pr\u00e9paration. Sans compter qu\u2019il faudrait aussi que je les touche de mes mains en m\u00e9langeant la p\u00e2te&nbsp;! Bonjour les mains sales desquelles l\u2019odeur des ingr\u00e9dients ne semblent jamais vouloir disparaitre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et oui, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, ces r\u00e9flexions, je les faisais avant de d\u00e9cider de me joindre \u00e0 ma m\u00e8re en cuisine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour la joie de mes proches, ces b\u00e2tonnets allaient tout de m\u00eame m\u2019aider \u00e0 surmonter cette mauvaise manie de mains propres. \u0152uf ou pas, je n\u2019\u00e9tais jamais enchant\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de toucher la p\u00e2te de mes mains. Si je voulais pr\u00e9parer ces b\u00e2tonnets, il fallait pourtant que je mette la main \u00e0 la p\u00e2te puisque les ingr\u00e9dients se m\u00e9langent \u00e0 la main.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, bien qu\u2019il soit possible d\u2019\u00e9taler la p\u00e2te \u00e0 b\u00e2tonnets au rouleau et de la d\u00e9couper en diff\u00e9rentes formes \u00e0 l\u2019aide d&#8217;un emporte-pi\u00e8ce, ma m\u00e8re a toujours roul\u00e9 ses b\u00e2tonnets \u00e0 la main. Ma m\u00e8re d\u00e9coupait la p\u00e2te pour moi afin de s\u2019assurer que nos b\u00e2tonnets soient uniformes. Je d\u00e9couvris vite le plaisir de rouler des morceaux de p\u00e2te en boules avant de les transformer en b\u00e2tonnets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce processus \u00e9tait encore plus agr\u00e9able parce que ma m\u00e8re m\u2019autorisait \u00e0 go\u00fbter la p\u00e2te crue. Les b\u00e2tonnets constituaient donc le cours id\u00e9al. Facile \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser, leur pr\u00e9paration n\u2019exige que trois ingr\u00e9dients clefs. Je m\u00e9morisai bien vite les instructions qu\u2019aujourd\u2019hui encore je peux vous r\u00e9p\u00e9ter mot pour mot tel que ma m\u00e8re me les indiquait. Pour des b\u00e2tonnets au fromage, il faut autant de beurre que de farine et de fromage. En langage plus concret, ceci signifie qu\u2019il faut un b\u00e2tonnet de beurre pour chaque tasse de farine et de fromage.&nbsp; Je parle ici bien s\u00fbr d\u2019un fromage pr\u00e9cis&nbsp;: l\u2019incontournable fromage T\u00eate de Maure ou encore fromage hollandais ha\u00eftien comme je me plais si souvent \u00e0 l\u2019appeler. Comme je&nbsp;l\u2019ai mentionn\u00e9 plus haut, cette recette, je l\u2019aimais particuli\u00e8rement pour une deuxi\u00e8me raison. Elle n\u2019exigeait pas que je casse des \u0153ufs, ce qui \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque \u00e9tait mon pire cauchemar en p\u00e2tisserie. J\u2019\u00e9tais tr\u00e8s maladroite. Je me salirais certainement les mains s\u2019il fallait que je casse des \u0153ufs dans la pr\u00e9paration. Sans compter qu\u2019il faudrait aussi que je les touche de mes mains en m\u00e9langeant la p\u00e2te&nbsp;! Bonjour les mains sales desquelles l\u2019odeur des ingr\u00e9dients ne semblent jamais vouloir disparaitre. Et oui, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, ces r\u00e9flexions, je les faisais avant de d\u00e9cider de me joindre \u00e0 ma m\u00e8re en cuisine. Pour la joie de mes proches, ces b\u00e2tonnets allaient tout de m\u00eame m\u2019aider \u00e0 surmonter cette mauvaise manie de mains propres. \u0152uf ou pas, je n\u2019\u00e9tais jamais enchant\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de toucher la p\u00e2te de mes mains. Si je voulais pr\u00e9parer ces b\u00e2tonnets, il fallait pourtant que je mette la main \u00e0 la p\u00e2te puisque les ingr\u00e9dients se m\u00e9langent \u00e0 la main. De plus, bien qu\u2019il soit possible d\u2019\u00e9taler la p\u00e2te \u00e0 b\u00e2tonnets au rouleau et de la d\u00e9couper en diff\u00e9rentes formes \u00e0 l\u2019aide d&#8217;un emporte-pi\u00e8ce, ma m\u00e8re a toujours roul\u00e9 ses b\u00e2tonnets \u00e0 la main. Je ne pouvais donc \u00e9viter de manipuler la p\u00e2te. Perch\u00e9e sur ma chaise haute, je me r\u00e9signais donc \u00e0 le faire ainsi. Ma m\u00e8re d\u00e9coupait la p\u00e2te pour moi afin de s\u2019assurer que nos b\u00e2tonnets soient uniformes. Je d\u00e9couvris vite le plaisir de rouler des morceaux de p\u00e2te en boules avant de les transformer en b\u00e2tonnets. Ce processus \u00e9tait encore plus agr\u00e9able parce que ma m\u00e8re m\u2019autorisait \u00e0 go\u00fbter la p\u00e2te crue. Je crois bien que je mangeais autant de pate que je n\u2019enroulais de b\u00e2tonnets.
