Nombreux sont mes articles qui mentionnent ses sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s et mes escapades dans sa cour perch\u00e9e au haut d\u2019un morne, ce morne que nous consid\u00e9rions comme \u00ab&nbsp;n\u00f4tre&nbsp;\u00bb mes fr\u00e8res et s\u0153ur et moi durant notre enfance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vous ne retrouverez donc pas un plat ou produit sp\u00e9cifique et non plus de recettes dans cet article, mais plut\u00f4t un r\u00e9capitulatif c\u00e9l\u00e9brant ma grand-m\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Son d\u00e9part r\u00e9cent nous a tous r\u00e9unis, oncles, tantes, cousins, cousines, amis chez elle, dans ce m\u00eame salon timidement illumin\u00e9 o\u00f9 elle nous recevait autrefois autour de son <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/tchaka-family-tradition\/\">tchaka<\/a>. Nous y avons chacun partag\u00e9 nos souvenirs d\u2019elle, notamment ses sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s culinaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les uns parl\u00e8rent de leur p\u00e2t\u00e9 pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9, son p\u00e2t\u00e9 \u00e0 la cervelle; les autres de cette m\u00eame viande qu\u2019ils furent forc\u00e9s de manger lors d\u2019un premier diner chez elle, trop embarrass\u00e9s d\u2019avouer \u00e0 cette h\u00f4tesse parfaite, dont on leur avait vant\u00e9 les talents culinaires, que son menu ne faisait pas la joie de leurs papilles. D\u2019autres \u00e9voqu\u00e8rent des recettes familiales transmises d\u2019une cousine \u00e0 une autre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assise sur ma chaise \u00e0 les \u00e9couter, je ne pus moi-m\u00eame m\u2019emp\u00eacher de faire un retour en arri\u00e8re pour me rem\u00e9morer les merveilleuses aventures v\u00e9cues dans cette maison ainsi que les concoctions uniques de ma grand-m\u00e8re, pr\u00e9parations qui faisaient ma joie lorsque j\u2019\u00e9tais enfant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est chez elle que j\u2019ai appris, pour son plus grand d\u00e9sespoir, \u00e0 faire <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/cattle-meat-giblets\/\">glousser incessamment les dindes<\/a>; \u00e0 escalader les mornes \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte de m\u00e8re nature. De sa cour, j\u2019ai assist\u00e9 \u00e0 beaucoup de semences et de r\u00e9coltes. Je l\u2019ai aussi vue marchander un morceau de viande de celle qui venait religieusement lui vendre du gibier frais. Je revois encore cette marchande s\u2019installant \u00e0 m\u00eame le sol sur le perron avec sa cuvette rouge pleine de viande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans sa cuisine, j\u2019ai regard\u00e9 avec fascination <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/shelling-congo-beans\/\">\u00e9cosser des pois congo<\/a>; bu du <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/haitian-white-rice-recipe\/\">dlo diri<\/a> \u00e0 m\u00eame la casserole. J\u2019ai aussi souvent vu une casserole de lait de vache frais mijotant sur le feu, et d\u00e9couvert avec surprise que ce m\u00eame lait s\u2019utilisait pour faire du beurre maison que nous d\u00e9gustions avec du pain frais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comment oublier sa <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/haitian-apricot-jam\/\">confiture d\u2019abricots<\/a>&nbsp;unique en son genre, son<a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/bonbon-sirop-recipe\/\"> bonbon sirop<\/a> que nul ne saura remplacer, son tchaka du samedi soir impr\u00e9gn\u00e9 de saveurs de <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/salt-cured-pork-for-bold-flavors\/\">viande fum\u00e9e sal\u00e9e<\/a>, son gigot de porc, ses bocaux remplis de piments qui ont certainement plu \u00e0 cet oncle &nbsp;dont je vous d\u00e9cris le <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/piment-bouc-hot-peppers\/\">visage rouge pourpre<\/a>&nbsp;dans un de mes articles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J\u2019ai d\u00e9sormais tant d\u2019histoires \u00e0 raconter, tant de souvenirs \u00e0 partager, tant de recettes \u00e0 essayer.
