Ils ne sont pas non plus au chocolat !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Que sont-ils donc alors ? Ce sont des bouch\u00e9es fondantes au lait de coco et au sucre que nous appelons douce kokoye (douceur au coco) chez nous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces douces kokoye, il y a longtemps que je voulais en faire. Apr\u00e8s publication de l\u2019article <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/douce-escape\/\">une douce escapade<\/a>, je ne pouvais r\u00e9sister \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de pr\u00e9parer moi m\u00eame des douces et revivre ainsi ces doux moments de mon enfance. J\u2019ai donc cherch\u00e9 et retrouv\u00e9 une recette de famille, une recette que j\u2019ai h\u00e9sit\u00e9 \u00e0 essayer vu sa formulation qui \u00e9tait la suivante :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00ab On utilise les noix de coco qui peuvent donner du lait. Du lait \u00e9vapor\u00e9 que tu m\u00e9langes au lait de coco. Puis on utilise la proportion suivante 3 pour 1. Soit 3 tasses du m\u00e9lange lait de coco et lait \u00e9vapor\u00e9 pour une tasse de sucre. On ajoute de la cannelle et le zeste de citron. On met le tout sur le feu. Il faut surveiller constamment la mont\u00e9e laiteuse (on peut retirer constamment une certaine quantit\u00e9 du lait qui monte et le verser \u00e0 nouveau dans le chaudi\u00e8re). Quand le liquide s\u2019\u00e9paissit on ajoute l\u2019essence de vanille et on \u00e9tale le tout sur la table. On attend que tout refroidisse et bon app\u00e9tit.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La lecture de ces instructions me met le sourire aux l\u00e8vres. Elles illustrent tout aussi bien la simplicit\u00e9 de nos recettes que notre mani\u00e8re unique de les partager \u00e0 l\u2019ha\u00eftienne. Comme le mentionne la <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/a-propos\/\">description du blog<\/a>, en Ha\u00efti, nos recettes incluent rarement des proportions pr\u00e9cises et ne listent pas non plus les ingr\u00e9dients. Chez nous, nous pr\u00e9f\u00e9rons expliquer les \u00e9tapes sans vraiment indiquer les proportions exactes. Pour \u00e9viter de rater des ingr\u00e9dients, il faut donc parfois prendre le temps de tout d\u00e9cortiquer pour les retrouver, ce que j\u2019ai d\u00fb faire dans ce cas pr\u00e9cis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vous comprenez donc un peu pourquoi j\u2019h\u00e9sitais \u00e0 essayer cette recette surtout que je voulais utiliser du lait de coco d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9par\u00e9. Je ne savais pas trop s\u2019il faudrait y ajouter du lait \u00e9vapor\u00e9 ou non. Apr\u00e8s maintes r\u00e9flexions, j\u2019ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de m\u2019y mettre ce weekend et d\u2019utiliser simplement du lait de coco. Le premier essai se r\u00e9v\u00e9la fructueux, si fructueux que le lendemain j\u2019en pr\u00e9parais une deuxi\u00e8me fourn\u00e9e encore plus d\u00e9licieuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J\u2019\u00e9tais loin d\u2019imaginer que cette seconde pr\u00e9paration surpasserait tant la premi\u00e8re que je d\u00e9couvrirais une autre version des douce kokoye. En effet, cette fois l\u00e0, sans le vouloir, j\u2019ai laiss\u00e9 la pr\u00e9paration mijoter un peu plus longtemps. Le r\u00e9sultat ? Des douces plus caram\u00e9lis\u00e9es et collantes que celles du jour pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent qui \u00e9taient de couleur plut\u00f4t cr\u00e8me et me rappelaient les douce l\u00e8t, douce au lait, que j\u2019aimais tant durant mon enfance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout compte fait, une fois la recette d\u00e9crypt\u00e9e elle est facile et simple \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser. Je vous la laisse donc plus bas. La seule d\u00e9cision qui vous reviendra vraiment est de laisser bouillir le lait de coco un peu plus longtemps que pr\u00e9vu ou non.
