Apr\u00e8s mes <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/papita-gou-lari-a\/\">sachets sal\u00e9s de papita<\/a> que je su\u00e7ais all\u00e8grement, c\u2019est maintenant au tour de cette poudre collant au palais de trouver sa place dans mes \u00e9crits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un m\u00e9lange de ma\u00efs et de pistaches r\u00e9duits au moulin en une poudre agr\u00e9ment\u00e9e de sucre et parfois aromatis\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9pices douces comme la cannelle, le chanm chanm est une autre g\u00e2terie \u00e0 avoir marqu\u00e9 ma vie d\u2019\u00e9coli\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je devais avoir \u00e0 peine sept-huit ans lorsque je l\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert pour la premi\u00e8re fois. Je pense effectivement en avoir go\u00fbt\u00e9 en classe de dixi\u00e8me un vendredi o\u00f9 mes parents, \u00e9tant retenus ailleurs par un engagement familial, nous avaient laiss\u00e9, ma s\u0153ur et moi, un peu plus tard sur la cour de l\u2019\u00e9cole apr\u00e8s le renvoi de midi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J\u2019avais \u00e9t\u00e9 tout de suite enchant\u00e9e par cette poudre qui, au contact de la salive, devenait une masse de chanm chanm collante et donc une v\u00e9ritable invitation \u00e0 f\u00e8 lasisine, sans compter que le chanm chanm remplissant le creux du palais fait parler sur la langue ! Ceci suffisait \u00e0 rendre heureuse la gamine que j\u2019\u00e9tais. Cette poudre collante me permettait d\u2019attiser la jalousie de mes camarades de classe, notamment de celles qui n\u2019avaient pas pu se procurer un sachet ce jour-l\u00e0. Un enfant ne demande pas beaucoup pour s\u2019amuser, hein ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette poudre qui se vendait en petits sachets bien gonfl\u00e9s se partageait difficilement. Il fallait ouvrir le sachet d\u00e9licatement afin d\u2019\u00e9viter autant que possible de renverser trop de chanm chanm sur le sol ou sur soi. Au fait, la meilleure fa\u00e7on d\u2019en manger \u00e9tait de creuser un minuscule trou \u00e0 l\u2019une des extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s du sachet \u00e0 l\u2019aide des incisives. Tel un entonnoir, ce trou permettait de faire descendre la poudre en filet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et oui, je me retrouvais une fois de plus \u00e0 sucer un sachet en plastique ! A bien r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir, mon enfance a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9e d\u2019ingestion de sachets : <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/fr\/papita-gou-lari-a\/\">sachet de papita<\/a>, sachet de chanm chanm, sachet de popcorn et j\u2019en passe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais revenons-en \u00e0 cette concoction de pistache et ma\u00efs. A l\u2019\u00e9poque, le vendredi \u00e9tait le jour du chanm chanm. En effet, la marchande nous amenait des sachets regorgeant de chanm chanm religieusement \u00e0 la sortie des cours primaires le midi. Je la revois encore derri\u00e8re son \u00e9tal o\u00f9 s\u2019affairaient des petites mains pour acheter surettes, bonbons, popcorn et autres g\u00e2teries. Moi, je ne m\u2019approchais vraiment de son \u00e9talage que lorsque j\u2019\u00e9tais certaine d\u2019y trouver mon chanm chanm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce sont ces souvenirs qui me vinrent \u00e0 l\u2019esprit lorsqu\u2019on me ramena un bol plein de chanm chanm de Bellad\u00e8re, une ville de province, le weekend \u00e9coul\u00e9.
