Je les croyais press\u00e9es, m\u2019a dit un jour une \u00e9trang\u00e8re francophone\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211;\u00a0Oui, \u00ab\u00a0pes\u00e9es\u00a0\u00bb\u2026..et moi de lui expliquer que ces bananes \u00e9taient press\u00e9es entre deux surfaces planes, habituellement un presse bananes en bois ou m\u00eame entre deux morceaux de la pelure de ce l\u00e9gume, pour les mains expertes, d\u2019o\u00f9 le nom bananes \u00ab\u00a0pes\u00e9es\u00a0\u00bb. J&#8217;ai aussi exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 deux assiettes \u00e0 dessert. Elle de riposter\u00a0:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211;\u00a0\u2026mais le mot peser veut dire bien autre chose\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est alors que je me suis rendu compte qu\u2019en effet le mot peser peut sembler inappropri\u00e9 aux autres francophones vu qu\u2019en fran\u00e7ais ce mot veut bien dire prendre le poids\u2026mais je m\u2019ent\u00eaterai toujours \u00e0 dire que chez nous, nos bananes sont bien \u00ab&nbsp;pes\u00e9es&nbsp;\u00bb, pas \u00ab&nbsp;pes\u00e9es&nbsp;\u00bb pour leur poids mais \u00ab&nbsp;pes\u00e9es&nbsp;\u00bb pour presser\u2026.Ce lapsus doit \u00eatre un h\u00e9ritage du cr\u00e9ole car en cr\u00e9ole nos bananes press\u00e9es sont bien \u00ab&nbsp;peze&nbsp;\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les bananes&nbsp;pes\u00e9es comme je le disais \u00e0 mon amie sont des bananes qui connaissent une double friture. La banane est d\u2019abord coup\u00e9e en deux ou trois morceaux bisaut\u00e9s que l\u2019on met \u00e0 tremper dans une eau sal\u00e9e avant de les faire frire pendant quelques minutes dans de l\u2019huile chaude sans les laisser cuire enti\u00e8rement.&nbsp; Les morceaux pr\u00e9cuits sont ensuite aplatis \u00e0 l\u2019aide soit de la peau de la banane, d\u2019un presse banane ou des assiettes avant d\u2019\u00eatre replong\u00e9s dans de l\u2019huile chaude pour une deuxi\u00e8me friture dont elles sortent croustillantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les bananes \u00ab&nbsp;pes\u00e9es&nbsp;\u00bb se d\u00e9gustent ensuite avec du <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/haitian-pikliz-recipe\/\">pikliz<\/a> ou simplement avec du sel, pour ceux qui n\u2019aiment pas le piquant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Essayez-les vous-m\u00eame avec notre <a href=\"http:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/bananes-pesees\/\">recette de bananes pes\u00e9es<\/a>.
