This year, a persistent friend and a craving for passion fruit curd changed my life for the better, reigniting my love for food blogging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That friend had spent the better part of the past two years nudging me to revive this food blog, get back to <a href=\"https:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/food-photography-haiti\/\">food photography<\/a>, writing and most importantly to my kitchen. He had tasted this chocolate cake layered with <a href=\"https:\/\/tchakayiti.com\/home\/three-ingredient-fruit-curd-recipe\/\">passion fruit curd<\/a> and whipped cream before, and suggested I bake it again.\u00a0 Even though I am not a baker &#8211; I only bake cakes once a year on my birthday, &#8211; I caved. I knew I needed to get back to writing. Plus, this cake would help me satisfy my craving for a sweet passion fruit treat.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Little did I know, this passion-filled cake reignited more than just my oven.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>That first bite brought pure bliss. Carefully measuring the ingredients and mixing the batter immersed me in the creative process.
